Joshua Tree Wedding Venue — Experiential Destination Weddings

Let’s talk Joshua Tree wedding venues. By far, one of my favorite destination wedding locations is Joshua Tree. With plenty of Airbnbs, and Joshua Tree wedding venues to offer strictly experiential weddings — weddings where you and your guests can stay onsite for a week or a weekend and have LOADS to do, Joshua Tree is just a perfect place to connect with your closest friends and family. We took a look at these five area Joshua Tree wedding venues to give you the down and dirty on the best spots to bring your friends, and family.

Joshua Tree Wedding Venues with Accommodations on Site:

Sacred Sands — A Joshua Tree Wedding Venue

This venue is SUCH a beautiful private oasis. If you’re thinking of a perfect getaway oasis, Sacred Sands is definitely the one. A beautiful rustic ceremony circle that accommodates 100 guests overlooking majestic views. Tucked away into the side of high topography, this Joshua Tree wedding venue has sprawling views out over a minimally touched valley.

The outdoor reception space holds around the same guest limit, and allows you to really deeply connect with nature around you, and with your guests. With two large, soundproofed getting ready rooms for the nearlyweds, and accommodations onsite, and locally, Sacred Sands has all of the amenities you could ask for.

Out in the desert of Joshua Tree, this wedding venue is a sacred, special experience. Another perfect locations for a destination Joshua Tree wedding, the 15 acre property has 3 houses with 5 unique suites sleeping up to 25 people. There’s a camper trailer bar, an outdoor yoga studio, a 25 foot trampoline, just so much for a beautiful experiential wedding.

This beautiful spot has a few more unique amenities that really sets it apart. With 1400 sq feet of covered porches, a custom motorcycle shop, vintage arcade games, a 120-inch projector home theatre, a rock mountain for climbing, and a modern, heated 32-foot pool — stay the week for your wedding, not just the weekend. With plenty to do during the day, and night, bringing your closest of closest out for your wedding just makes sense.

Easily one of my favorite spots, the entrance to this Joshua Tree wedding venue is lined with beautiful cacti — the perfect spot for portraits. With a large outdoor pool, expansive views, and a two bedroom house for six guests, this is definitely a more intimate Joshua Tree wedding venue. The heated salt pool is complete with a large cabana for shade, and hanging out. The home is lined with lush landscape and enchanted cacti gardens.

With over 220 acres of property to explore, the Joshua Tree wedding venue is the perfect spot to find adventure while still seeking respite, and refuge. With 360 degree views, connect with nature and your closest of loved ones in this beautiful property. A hospitality kit is available onsite with artisanal cocktails, and organic goodies.

A garden and labyrinth wedding venue, Tumbleweed Sanctuary offers the ability to dream under the stars and dance under the disco ball. A destination wedding venue for ceremony and celebration, the venue believes in experiencing the simplicity and untamed beauty of the desert. Preserving a church originally built in 1987, the property is about a 30 mile drive from Palm Springs, with an expansive 8+ acre space.

As a destination wedding venue, Tumbleweed Sanctuary offers experiences, and amenities. From a vintage trailer and large dining tables, to the Labyrinth ceremony space, the Sanctuary has you in mind. With large indoor spaces for entertaining, and a meticulously crafted property, putting nature first, the space has hosted large, and small weddings.

Pioneertown Area — Joshua Tree Wedding Venue

Pioneertown is a quieter area just outside of Joshua Tree. A mostly locals town, you won’t find fast food, or a supermarket here. Instead, you’ll find beautiful preserves and trails to untouched land, and valley-wide views.

Built with actors like Gene Autry, and Roy Rogers in mind, this Joshua Tree wedding vneue sits on a 36. acre ranch just outside of JT National Park. With four rustic cabins, retro-fitted Airstream trailers, a lodge, and the internationally famous architectural masterpiece known as the Hatch House, this venue offers lots to do and see on site as a destination wedding venue.

A magical location in the majestic high desert, the venue is studded with flowering cacti, has spectacular sunset views, and every now and again you’ll hear a coyote howl. Book the entire place for your wedding, and enjoy one of the best gems Joshua Tree has to offer.

This boho-chic accommodations, and venue is a perfect rustic spot for your Joshua Tree wedding. With safari tents, and airstreams, the 40-acre Joshua Tree wedding venue can hold quite a few guests for a weekend or a week. The Art Lounge offers a place to casually relax in the shade, and get creative with your wedding guests.

A wedding space that offers a true experience, you could easily hike locally, or hang out at the venue and get creative, or head out to the National Park to hike and adventure. This Joshua Tree wedding venue allows you to connect with nature, and each other, versus just having a short and sweet wedding at a traditional venue.

Preparing for a Joshua Tree wedding
